HOUSTON, TEXAS – OCTOBER 21, 2020 The City of Houston has declared Wednesday, October 21, 2020 to be ExecuTeam and Team1Medical Staffing Day.
The formal Proclamation was announced by Mayor Sylvester Turner in recognition of ExecuTeam and Team1Medical employing thousands of Houston residents with hundreds of employers in the Houston Metropolitan area, including the City of Houston. Most recently, the company played an integral part in providing accounting/finance, administrative, management and healthcare personnel to the city and county in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
In his announcement, Mayor Turner stated: “The Houston area is wonderfully enriched by these dedicated individuals whose compassion and selflessness have improved the quality of life for so many great people. ExecuTeam and Team1Medical Staffing has contributed greatly to many worthwhile causes, championed for change, and continues to be a pillar of the community.”
“For over 15 years, we have partnered with various departments at the City, supplementing their workforce during normal business cycles as well as those in the preparation and response to various natural disasters including the most recent pandemic,” says Laura Bowen, President of both organizations. “I am honored for our employees and our company to be recognized by Mayor Turner. Houston-based and founded in 1987, ExecuTeam provides direct hire, temp-to-hire, temporary, and payrolling staffing services in various disciplines, including accounting/finance, administrative support, human resources, and professional employment opportunities. Team1Medical, a division of ExecuTeam, was founded in 1995 to provide employment solutions for clinical and non-clinical healthcare organizations. Both companies operate as an affiliate of The Reserves Network, which they joined via an acquisition in October of last year.
